T.J. SPYRES

Hi, I'm T.J. Spyres

Ever since I was young, I've had an imagination that never seemed to slow down. My mind was constantly filled with stories, worlds, and ideas, and for years I never knew where to put all of that creative energy. Writing became the place where those ideas could finally come to life.

Today, I write fantasy stories that blend science and the supernatural, usually with a little mystery thrown in. I've always been fascinated by the idea that there could be things about our world we simply don't understand yet. That curiosity is a big part of what inspires me to write—to create stories about strange discoveries, impossible things, and the people who find themselves caught in the middle of them.

My debut novel, Veilbreak, combines atmospheric worldbuilding, psychological mystery, and unforgettable characters in a story where humanity discovers something it was never meant to understand. As strange abilities emerge and Helix's secrets begin to surface, a group of unlikely allies finds themselves caught in the middle of a mystery surrounding the Veil.

When I'm not writing, you can usually find me in the gym, experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen, or rediscovering my longtime passion for creating artwork.
